WHY DO WE SHOW EXPIRED LISTINGS?
We are seeking a Christian couple to serve as house parents to provide a traditional family environment to an average of 3-5 teenage girls from hard places.
Responsible for direct care in evenings and weekends to connect, nurture and lovingly guide girls in learning life skills while empowering them to heal and grow. We provide ongoing training for trauma informed care using the TBRI method focusing on building healthy relationships. Our program seeks to heal the whole person giving them steps to success for their future which includes a credit recovery academic program, equine therapy, spiritual development, and independent life skills. We target teenage girls ages 13-18 and currently developing independent living program for our graduates to continue to be a part of the ranch family until they are 21 and beyond.
Our ministry operates as a team approach in a family system to provide opportunities for girls to overcome life’s obstacles in order to redeem their past, restore peace in their hearts and renew hope for a brighter future, one step at a time. Other duties include: grocery shopping, preparing meals, light house maintenance, maintain records, gardening and transporting girls as needed for appointments or activities. Must have a willing servant’s heart with a ministry focus, an excellent driving record, pass background checks FBI/BCI, and preferred parenting experience.
