Access Self Storage (family-owned with a fifty-year history) is seeking a couple to manage a 900+ unit self-storage facility located in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas, Texas.
Property managers are responsible for all day-to-day activities during their scheduled shifts and, as residents, responding quickly to emergencies after hours.
Duties vary by need, but include:
Facility Maintenance:
-Cleaning out units
-Picking up trash
-Spraying weeds
-Replacing latches
-Painting
-Wiping down doors
-Anything else required to keep the facility Customer Ready!
Customer Service:
-Assisting customers in finding the right unit
-Explaining rental paperwork
-Processing payments
-Returning messages and e-mails
-Making collection calls
Truck Rental:
-Making reservations
-Dispatching outgoing equipment
-Checking in returning equipment and closing out contracts
-Light vehicle maintenance
This position includes a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment on-site. Electricity, Water, Trash, Sewage, and Internet are included.
Compensation is comprised of the fair market value of the residence, a base salary, revenue share, truck rental commission, benefits, and various bonuses. Property managers receive full medical, dental, and vision insurance at no employee cost.

Qualified applicants have an established work history in self-storage, property management, customer service, or other related fields and experience working together as a couple. Both applicants must possess a solid working-knowledge of Microsoft Windows, the Microsoft Office Suite of programs, and web browsers. Both applicants must be able and willing to work outside and lift up to 40 lbs on occasion.
