My husband and I are very interested in a management position that involves running an Inn or Bed and Breakfast. We believe our professional business experience combined with our recent three years of experience in the hospitality area to be great qualifications for this position. We believe we have the mix of skills that you are looking for and that we would be strong assets for your business. We recently sold our business in Maine (after 25 years) and have been working in the hospitality business in southwest Florida for the past three years. We have strong experience in the hospitality area through our work experience at The Philharmonic Center for the Arts and The Barbara Mann Performing Arts Center. These establishments require high standards of excellence. We have also worked for/with several caterers in both Maine and Florida. We recently worked in hospitality for a Seniors Golf Tournament. In addition, we created a freelance company called Blue Moon Bartending Co.
We previously ran our own professional business. My husband is extremely entrepreneurial oriented and has proven skills in the Marketing area. I have strong skills in bookkeeping and Customer Service. We have managed a wide variety of employees and therefore have solid experience to manage a staff. We are both business minded but also enjoy working with people and have a strong spirit for hospitality. We are a good team and work well together. We are hard working and would enjoy this type of work. The experience we have in Customer Service would provide a good background for guest relations. We have solid computer skills and are good with reports and accounting. We enjoy hiking and bike riding. We are fast learners and very committed, dedicated individuals.
