Sourcing & production of standard and non-standard (special) packaging for all music products (CD, vinyl and cassette). Releases included Radiohead's 'Hail to the Thief', Blur’s 'Think Tank', the ‘Pet Shop Boys’ and ‘Yoko Ono’ to name a few on Capitol EMI, Parlophone & Gold labels.
Creative input on sourcing alternative and innovative packaging ideas within budget costs.
Duties:
To attend and chair weekly label scheduling meetings to ensure the timely scheduling of product and the delivery of necessary components to update marketing on the progress of releases.
Attendance of twice-weekly internal scheduling meetings in order to ascertain progress and advise status of new releases within the UK and for International scheduling.
Management of the incremental packaging sign-off process alongside label account book keeping.
Management on all projects as required (i.e. releases which include non-standard, complex components requiring knowledge/experience) from the point of establishing specifications, suppliers, lead-times and general feasibility for release intent.
Provide comparative cost analysis for both sales and marketing divisions ensuring parts and product remain within budget forecasts.
On behalf of marketing, resolve any problems that may arise during the new release process or with finished product.
Verifying manufacturing samples against product build to ensure customer satisfaction before forwarding to distribution and retail.

Duties included:
Management of all Walt Disney's children's read-along products worldwide with Edel's main production plant in Hamburg, Germany.
Sourcing text translations in various languages including Finnish, French and Russian.
Responsible for sourcing and scanning old artwork films from previous distributors to re-create and digitize a new library for Disney's HQ in Madrid, Spain.
Extensive research in cost analysis vs. manufacturing on a worldwide scale to keep within market demands and to release innovative packaging ideas.
Co-Ordinator for all of Edel's UK artists' music products/releases on an International level - ensuring delivery of finished product to Edel offices/distributors from submitted audio master tapes & artwork.

Production and manufacturing for all music releases (standard/special/promo) for all 8 labels (XL recordings, Wiiija, 4AD, MoWax, Mantra, Too Pure and Beggars Banquet).
Sourced and organised number 1 chart hits including Cornershop’s 'Brimful of Asha' and the Prodigy's 'Fat of the Land'.
Designed and created a digitised database system registering the history of each release and tabulating the amount of parts versus finished product to avoid waste and overstocks.
Responsible for production distribution in the UK & Ireland.
Back catalogue maintenance which includes mid-price advertising campaigns.
