Resident Manager TEAM (2 Persons) Manufactured Housing Community (Oregon) Resident Manager TEAM Job Responsibilities for Manufactured Housing Community: This position is very much like being the Mayor, Police Chief, Supervisor, Gardener, Maintenance and Civil Engineer. A multi-lingual ability, English/Spanish is preferred, but not necessary.
Work hours are full time Monday through Friday or as needed with weekends off. However, individuals must possess an attitude of self-motivation, problem-solving and hands-on approach to the task and objectives of the moment. Being able to prioritize work and budget for the community needs is essential. A daily inspection of the property is expected. Assist residents to maintain their property in a way that enhances the visual and physical comfort of the community at large by giving notice in a respectful manner that compliance with rules and regulations is necessary (this is where the Mayor/Police Chief sales skills come in handy).
Office Manager Duties: Public Interaction -- Answering the phone and assisting "walk-in" traffic. Thus, emotional maturity, being organized, efficient, diplomatic, being able to deal with a diverse population in a fair and ethical manner are absolutely necessary. Other office duties: Complete rental applications. Run credit checks. Know Laws and Park Rules. Off-site Management firm assists with these as well as working with attorneys if need be. Collect and post rent in an accurate manner. Basic computer skills to operate computerize office system designed for this application. Most of the activity of this nature occurs the last few days of each month and first 5 days of the following month so having the office open and being available is key. In between such activities, other notices such as "compliance issues" (late rent payment, yard maintenance, etc.) are delivered to the residents. Follow-up to these notices is a BIG factor in having residents comply and be happy at the same time. One must recognize that not all people are happy all the time so there are challenges in dealing with residents. Be responsible for petty cash, bank deposits, rental agreements, etc.
Maintenance is important and the individual will need a working understanding of electrical, plumbing, home repair and landscaping Gardening -- around the manager's unit and other common areas. Adding enhancements to beautify areas of the community is a bonus. ?Attend meetings to keep current on up-dates laws and to enhance one's own job performance.
A little bit about this community. This 100 space family mobile home community located in the Eugene area. Qualified candidates must pass a background check which includes, but not limited to, credit, criminal, eviction history and mandatory drug testing.
Qualifications: We are seeking an energetic, self motivated TEAM (2 PERSONS), who enjoy people, office work to include rent collections, enforcement of Rules & Regs, physical outdoor duties to include landscape maintenance and basic handyman services. We are looking to employ long-term employees with strong ETHICS & INTEGRITY, as well as company loyalty and a great attitude. The job requires that you will be comfortable working alone and you must be a SELF STARTER as well as motivated to complete each job in a timely manner while providing unmatched customer service and quality workmanship. • Background check and drug screen required!
Compensation: Home, Utilities and $2,500+ per mo.
