Farm Manager Couple - East Worcester, NY

We have a family farm twenty minutes outside of Cooperstown. The farm is located on 500 beautiful acres. The basic responsibilities are to care for the animals, and maintain the grounds. 

In regard to the animals, we have chickens, three horses, two pigs and two dogs. However, I love animals and dream of expanding--perhaps a pair of alpacas and/or a pair of cows. I need an animal lover! So--muck stalls, pick up poop, turn the horses in and out, feed them, groom them--basic horse care. 

When it comes to maintaining the grounds, I need the couple to be able to clean the house, mow the grass, weed wack, mend fences, plow and cut trees. It would be extremely useful if the couple has experience with running a tractor and even more useful if the are mechanically apt. 

The reason I am searching for a working couple is two fold, first our current care takers who have worked with us for over 20 years are getting to the age where they are looking to retire, second our farm is growing. Already, I am beginning to plant crops as well as working on other endeavors. 

Ideally I am looking for a couple who will stay on the farm for the long run, and doesn’t look at it as a job, but as a beautiful lifestyle.
